Creditnotes.co.uk was launched in January 2006 with just one thing in mind – to provide a service to all shoppers frustrated with being given a credit note or gift voucher after returning an unsatisfactory item to a retailer.
Saddled with a credit note for £325 and requiring nothing else from the store one man thought … there must be a solution.

Our vision is of creating a low cost effective auction website that would allow you the consumer to make savings on the purchase or selling of an item.

We wanted to lay the foundations for a new breed of buying and selling that wasnt built around taking money, but the satisfaction of millions of people who wanted to trade.  

Now with registered users and and growing rapidly everyday, creditnotes offers a cost effective platform for you to show your products.

Our company is built on a clear set of values. Whilst it's easy to be cynical about such things, our values are our touchstone, and they're very real to us. We believe people have the right to freedom of choice and this choice should not be steered by their financial stance, but on the grounds that everyone is given a fair deal in life, business and all that they do.

We are in agreeance that a website that gives you a stage to buy and sell goods should not charge you lots of money and take large amounts of commission for your sale. This increases the selling price for the seller and the buying price for the consumer. So no-one wins
