Following this checklist will ensure that you get the best and safest possible deal when bidding on creditnotes.
First you must register with Creditnotes and sign up to a paypal account.
Select the category for your item. Provide us with a little bit of information about your product, what price you want to start the bid and whats your buy now price.
You will be given the option to add a picture then the creditnotes website will direct you to the checkout.
Once you have completed your details with paypal you must press the 'return to creditnotes' button to activate your item. This will allow paypal and creditnotes to confirm your payment.
RESERVE BIDS:
Sometimes (and our system supports this) a seller enters a Reserve Bid. For example, a specific item sells for £100 new. The seller decides to place a starting bid of £1 on the item but they want to get at least £80 for it. So a reserve bid of £80 is entered into the system. In such a case--even if you are the high bidder at, say, £60--you will not win the item unless you go over £80.
We feel this is a poor auction strategy and wastes the time of buyers and sellers alike. We suggest this to sellers: enter the item at the least price you will accept, with no reserve.
Once you have completed the form with paypal you must press the button to go back to the website creditnotes to complete the transaction.
Your item will be shown for 7 days.
If its your first time, your item or items will be shown for 1 month.
A fee of £1.00GBP is taken for each item.
For Postage and Packaging the recorded delivery service of your local post office is probably most suited

Buying
Our service is designed to be as simple as possible.
- If you decide to view the sellers products, list the features you're looking out for before you you go.
- Ensure you confirm your appointment before setting out.
- With safety in hand, only visit the sellers home with a friend.
- Tell the seller you require a receipt.
- Check the item is in full working order before you buy.
- Can the seller show you a guarantee?
Selling
- If buyer wants to pay by bankers draft, arrange so your meeting is during bank opening time so you can see the draft being drawn.
- If buyer is visiting your house, ensure other valuables are out of sight.
